FastSearch Report Terms and Conditions
1.0 About us
1.1 Groundwater Solutions Ltd. is a specialist groundwater consultancy based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, UK.
1.2 Groundwater Solutions Ltd. is registered in England and Wales with Registered Number 08541537 and Registered Office at Emstrey House (North), Shrewsbury Business Park, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY2 6LG, United Kongdom.
2.0 Guarantee
2.1 Groundwater Solutions Ltd. will take all reasonable endeavours to ensure the timely delivery and accuracy of your FastSearchTM Report. If you find the delivery to be defective in any way, you should inform us via email at info@groundwatersolutions.co.uk within 7 working days of receiving your order. We will then send you a replacement within 7 working days of us receiving notification of any defect. If it is not possible to provide you with a replacement we will give you a full refund. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
3.0 Exclusion of Liability
3.1 Whilst your FastSearchTM Report is based upon available knowledge, published data sources and specialist hydrogeological interpretation, the report does not provide a guarantee as to the availability or quality of groundwater but intends to provide an estimation of the likely groundwater availability. Groundwater Solutions Ltd. does not accept liability for any loss of any nature in relation to how the information presented in this report is used or interpreted.
3.2 Your FastSearchTM Report presents a preliminary assessment, or pre-feasibility, of abstracting groundwater from the location selected by you, the client. It is strongly recommended that you commission further detailed study and/or site investigation prior to making any arrangements related to such a groundwater abstraction, for example, drilling a borehole or installing treatment facilities or pipework.
3.3 The data, information and interpretations presented in the report is based on data and information available at the time of writing and obtained from third party sources such as the Environment Agency and British Geological Survey. These data, information and interpretations may be affected by the future availability of new data. Groundwater Solutions Ltd. accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracies relating to the data and information supplied by, or obtained from, third parties.
3.4 There may be other legislative, regulatory or physical constraints at your site which may affect the feasibility of a groundwater abstraction or the availability, quantity and/or quality of groundwater. These constraints would be identified as part of further detailed feasibility study.
3.5 Groundwater Solutions Ltd. does not accept liability arising from any errors or omissions in any information provided by you or on your behalf and which may be used as the basis for your FastSearchTM Report.
3.6 You warrant that you are the owner of, or have obtained the right to disclose, any data or information that is submitted to Groundwater Solutions Ltd. for the purpose of enabling us to provide this service.
3.7 Reports will be sent as a PDF document via email to the email address you provide at the time of ordering. You are responsible for ensuring that you are able to receive emails and email attachments including the report and that the report format is compatible with the device you receive or view the email and attachments in.
3.8 Groundwater Solutions Ltd. does not accept liability for the accidental transmission of viruses or malware and it is your responsibility to ensure that you operate suitable anti-virus software to protect your device.
4.0 Location of your site
4.1 Please include as much detail as possible so that we may adequately locate your site. A national grid reference and address with short description of the site is ideal.
4.2 It is recommended that you double check the details of the location of your site before submitting your order as we are unable to change the location once the order is submitted. If there is doubt with regards to the accuracy of the location, please contact us at info@groundwatersolutions.co.uk.
4.3 FastSearchTM Report is only available for sites located in the United Kingdom.
4.4 FastSearchTM Report is only available for sites of up to 1ha (2.47 acres or 10,000m2) in area. This is equivalent to an area 100 metres by 100 metres or 300 feet by 300 feet. A FastSearchTM Report is available for larger sites and you should contact us directly for a quote.
5.0 Payment
5.1 You will be only charged the amount quoted at the time of ordering. There are no add-on charges such as credit card charges.
5.2 Online payment may be made by credit or debit card or PayPal all via PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to make a payment by credit or debit card.
6.0 Delivery of your report
6.1 Delivery is included in the price of the report. Reports will be sent as a PDF document via email to the email address you provide at the time of ordering.
6.2 If you order a FastSearchTM Report between 9am Monday and Wednesday 5pm we will aim to deliver your report within 48 hours of ordering and payment. Delivery time for orders submitted after 5pm Wednesday, or during Bank Holidays, or weekends may take longer than 48 hours.
6.3 If you don’t receive your FastSearchTM Report when you expect to receive it, please contact us at info@groundwatersolutions.co.uk
6.4 Should the information delivered to you be found to be corrupted or unreadable then please contact us at info@groundwatersolutions.co.uk and we will replace it provided that you contact us within one month of your purchase.
6.5 If we are unable to deliver in a timely manner due to unforeseen reasons, such as technical issues, we will inform you via email providing you with an estimated delivery date. If we are unable to deliver your report within this estimated delivery date you will then have the option of cancelling your order and you will be entitled to a full refund.
7.0 Cancellation of your order
7.1 Exception to the right to cancel: The FastSearchTM Report service provides a fast turnaround of a bespoke, site-specific report based on the information you supply. Therefore, there is no right to cancel orders for these products once an order is submitted.
7.2 We cannot accept responsibility for incorrect information you supply during the ordering of a FastSearchTM Report.
8.0 Complaints, queries or problems
8.1 Should you have any cause to complain or have any queries or problems about this service, please contact info@groundwatersolutions.co.uk. We are happy to receive your comments.
9.0 Governing law
9.1 This contract for the supply of a FastSearchTM Report will be deemed to have been made within England and will therefore be subject to the laws of England and Wales.
10.0 Your data
10.1 The information you supply to Groundwater Solutions Ltd. via the online form:
· will be collected by Groundwater Solutions Ltd. to enable us to provide you with the service you have requested;
· will be held by Groundwater Solutions Ltd.;
· will not be passed to any third parties without your permission unless we are required, by law, to do so;
· will be protected using all reasonable endeavours to prevent it being misused or lost; and
· may be amended or deleted from our records at your written request by contacting info@groundwatersolutions.co.uk
